Pattern Progress

Yaysies! I am almostfinished with writing out the pattern instructions for my Holla Knits sweater design!   I’m using KnitPicks Brava Worsted Weight Yarn in Cobblestone Heather and Rouge.

I love this color combination!  The colors are right out of Pantone’s Colors for Fall 2012!!  And this yarn!! It’s so soft and squishy! Brava comes in a wide range of colors.  And guess what?  Until June 15th, KnitPicks is offering a free skein of Brava with purchase!  Check it out here!

And, finally,  a sneak peek at some swatches:

I actually swatched the collar detail!  I’d hate to get to that point when actually knitting the prototype and find out my idea didn’t work.  That might be too much frogging for me!!  So the swatching is going along as planned and with Size 8 needles and the body worked in one piece, I think this sweater is going to fly off my needles!  Let the casting on begin!
