More Sweater Love

Recently, my daughter has been catching up on the first season of The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City. Set in 1984, it follows Carrie Bradshaw’s life during high school. I’ve watched several episodes with my daughter at this point and, I must say, even though I’m far from being a teenager, I love Carrie’s clothes! What would a prequel to SATC be without fashion, lots and lots of fashion?!! And, FYI, I don’t remember clothes being that cute in the 80’s. A quick google search found tons of websites devoted to the fashion of The Carrie Diaries. And guess what? Most of what teenage Carrie wears can be found in our modern times! Well, some of it can still be found; a lot has already sold out. Here are some of our favorites from Carrie’s too cute sweater collection:

Guess we will be tuning in when the second season of The Carrie Diaries begins. I imagine my daughter will have a long shopping list after each episode!!!
