Labor Day Weekend!

As you can imagine, with 2 always busy teenagers, it was fine with everyone to just relax and hang out with friends this weekend. Yesterday, we had dinner with friends and my husband smoked chicken and I made some Key Lime Pies. This recipe is very similar to the one I use. Yummo! Today will find us at a good old-fashioned cookout complete with burgers and hotdogs, corn on the cob and ice cream. Easy kitchen cleanup later on equals some more knitting time for me!

This past week found me finally finishing up a household project which has taken forever to get through. So, I’m hoping to jump back into knitting tonight and finish up my second Color Affection Shawl.

I’m also hoping to get back to knitting a second version of my HollaKnits design. The new patterns are going to be released next week!
