Fiber Frenzy
Today, I was lucky enough to score this pretty skein of yarn from Fibernymph Dye Works.

I can’t wait for it to arrive in the mail so that I can start knitting with it! Fibernymph Dye Works yarn sells out quickly and, I have to tell you, once I realized this, I carefully planned how I would purchase this highly-sought-after yarn! Here’s what I did. First, I liked Fiberynymph Dye Works on Facebook in order to keep up with her webite status updates. Then, I kept an eye on her website, specifically the fingering weight yarn that I was most interested in. Last week, I missed my first opportunity following this plan because the shop update was between 2pm and 3pm and guess where I was? In the car, headed to carpool! Even though I tried to be early to the carpool line and tried to make a purchase with my smartphone, it was not quick enough to net me any new yarn acquisitions. Today, however, my children were off from school and the update was slated between 1:30 and 2:00 pm. Yaysies! I was at home. I had my laptop. I was on the Good and Plenty yarn page. And, at 1:30, I started refreshing that page until the availability and add to cart came up. Now, I should tell you, this does not necessarily mean the yarn is in your cart. You need to be quick. You might click on add to cart and then you look in your cart and nothing is there. Find another yarn and try to purchase that one. If it turns out that you were not quick enough, as I was not last week, try again another time. The shop updates usually seem to be on Fridays and different yarn seems to be available at different times. Have fun browsing and good luck!
