On the Table

Last night, I made the Pioneer Woman’s Beef with Snowpeas. I kinda just went along with her ingredient list and used the following proportions:

1 1/2 lbs Flank Steak
1/2 c low sodium soy sauce
1/2 c cooking sherry
1 tbs minced fresh ginger
3 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs corn starch
2 c Snowpeas

I split the sauce once I made it and used half to marinade the flank steak and half to use as the sauce in cooking. Also, I was trying to remember the ingredient list without looking at my phone when I was in the grocery store. Hence, I forgot the scallions. Which The Girl probably would not have liked anyway so all was good.

In about half an hour, I had prepped and cooked this delicious entree along with some rice. Yummy dinner and leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch. Next, I’ll try this recipe again when the boys are home.
